The Eat.Taste.Central - Regional Menu Awards recognise the dishes that best represent the flavours of Central Otago across each category of the Regional Menu; Pies, Burgers & Sandwiches and Main Meal. A panel of judges will select the winners and an additional Premium Plate award is being presented in 2022 as part of the launch of Central Otago, A World of Flavour
The People & Business Awards celebrate the people and venues who are making a difference, it's a chance for businesses to put forward themselves, their staff, or another member of the hospitality community that they see doing amazing things for Central Otago. There are four categories in the People & Business category; Front of House, Chef or Cook, Emerging Talent and Sustainability & Innovation.

Entry Process
Based on the category you would like to enter please send the following requested information via email (in the email body, or as a word document) and include your contact details to tourism@codc.govt.nz by 5pm on the Tuesday the 4th of October with the subject: E.T.C Judges Awards Nomination
E.T.C Chef or Cook of the Year
An individual who works as chef, sous chef, or head cook role in a Central Otago café, restaurant, winery or bar.

An individual who works in a customer facing role in local café, restaurant, winery or bar.

Someone working in the Central Otago food tourism/hospitality industry under 30 years of age. Can be in a café, restaurant, vineyard, orchard or activity provider connected with the Food & Beverage sector.

E.T.C Sustainability & Innovation in Food & Beverage Tourism Award
A producer, venue or grower that is showing a commitment to developing innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the tourism and hospitality industry (e.g.; talent recruitment, environmental outcomes, product delivery)
