The Eat.Taste.Central Judges Awards in association with MiNDFOOD are celebrating the people who are making a difference, it's a chance for businesses to put forward themselves, their staff, or another member of the hospitality community that they see doing amazing things for Central Otago.
There are four categories:
- Front of House - for an individual who works in a customer facing role in local café/restaurant/winery/bar
- Chef or Cook - for an individual who works as chef, sous chef, or head cook role in a Central Otago café/restaurant/winery/bar
- Emerging Talent - someone working in the Central Otago food tourism/hospitality/producer industry under 30 years of age). Can be in a café, restaurant, vineyard, orchard or activity provider connected with the Food & Beverage sector.
- Sustainability & Innovation in Food & Beverage Tourism Award - A producer, venue or grower that is showing a commitment to developing innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the tourism and hospitality industry (talent recruitment, environmental outcomes, product delivery
These categories will be judged by an invited panel. Written submissions will be called for as E.T.C. begins and give participants 3 weeks to complete their applications. The prize details will be released shortly – but we can reassure you it will be something just that little bit special.
