The Kitchen Garden Central Otago just like our beautiful region is a foodies paradise, whether you’re a local or visiting.  

We offer a range of food experiences and packages that allow you to enjoy Central Otago’s bounty of produce and products in the way that best suits your budget, time frame and how you most enjoy engaging with food.

• Private Chef Experience.  This covers everything from a platter dropped to you to enjoy at your accommodation winding down after a day on one of Central Otago’s stunning cycle trails... to a bespoke menu with table service (and all the dishes done) to celebrate in style at your home or home away from home.  
• Cooking demonstrations.  Our range of interactive demonstrations are a fabulous way to experience our local seasonal delights and artisan producers products if the kitchen is your happy place! We offer a range of fun interactive cooking demonstrations from platter classes to a seasonal lunch class, and the option to build a bespoke class just for you.  These can be booked privately as group classes - we can come to your home or accommodation, or you can come to us at The Kitchen Garden HQ in Bannockburn.  And keep an eye on our website for details of our upcoming pop-up events.
• Catering.  Canapes and nibbles.  Buffet meals.  Lunch or snacks platters for meetings.  Even gourmet picnic or breakfast hampers on your local explorations.  All delivered to you with the option of having us stay, serve and clean up too.

• Mobile High Tea.  A delicious and elegant way to celebrate a birthday, a baby shower or even kick off a hen’s party weekend.  We put together a menu that suits your tastes and budget and bring everything to you - food and refreshments, the vintage tableware and linen even the table!

With 25 years experience, Gabi our chef can cater to all dietary requirements including food allergies, vegetarian and vegan menus and game meat preparation across all of our packages.
