Central Lakes Trust is a charitable trust that grants funds for charitable purposes.
Central Lakes Trust is a charitable trust supporting our community, by granting funds for charitable purposes throughout the Central Lakes district. Annually, approximately $7-9 million is granted to community organisations within the Trust's funding region, which spans most of Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes.
As a Charitable Trust, unlike community trusts, the Trust can only fund organisations who are registered with Charities Services, Educational providers, Regional and Territorial Authorities, and the programme or project must have a charitable purpose. The extent of community benefit determines the funding level.
