Overlooking the Clutha River and Old Man Range, Immigrant's Vineyard is one of the most southern vineyards in the world, exactly in between the Central Otago towns of Alexandra and Clyde, right on the Otago Central Rail Trail.

Although comprising 20ha, we are still a boutique vineyard, and a boutique cellar-door. Opening hours vary from summer to winter, please check our website.

Roland and Lucienne, both work in the vineyard every day. During the summer months the cellar-door is open from 11am to 4pm and is accessible by foot/bike from Dunstan Road, or by car from Airport Road. As our house doubles as the cellar-door, it won't be crowded. We can't accommodate large groups. We have a low-key, but personal approach to the tasting experience. Either Roland or Lucienne will "drop their tools" in the vineyard to greet you and introduce you to their Ruru Wine Brand. We produce Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Rosé, Chardonnay, Sparkling Méthode Traditionelle and Gewürztraminer. On a nice day you can enjoy the tasting from our terrace with amazing views over the vineyard and beyond.
