Lowburn Ferry Vineyard

Lowburn Ferry is a boutique, family owned vineyard nestled in a sheltered north facing terrace in the Lowburn Valley beneath the Pisa Range.
Deep in the south of New Zealand is Central Otago, the world's southernmost wine making region, famed for its spectacular scenery and exceptional pinot noir wines.
Glacial terraces are a distinctive feature of the landscape surrounding Lowburn Ferry, an early settlers' crossing point over the Clutha River near Cromwell in Central Otago. The man on the punt represents the ferry that used to ply across the river from the gold rush days until 1938 when a bridge was built.
The deep silt soils underlying Lowburn Ferry Vineyard have long been nurtured and are rich in soil life and organic matter - the special terroir is reflected in the award winning handcrafted pinot noir wines from the family owned vineyard.
