Karearea Rise B&B
As the New Zealand Falcon (Karearea in Maori) soars up to the lofty heights, gliding in the warm thermals so too will you as you rest your head and comfortably fall asleep in what feels like a cloud of comfort and warmth.
The owners of Karearea Rise B&B take pride in bringing to you a beautifully appointed lodge that is lovingly cared for and is warm and cosy in the winter and cool and breezy in the summer. If you are lucky you may see a Karearea Falcon hunting in the skies near the lodge. There are also many other bird species that frequent the garden areas, such as: Tui Ruru (Morepork - Native Owl) Silvereye Fantail (Piwakawaka) Bellbird (Korimako) Kahu (Eagle)
Each room represents the owners love of New Zealand (Southland) and South Australia, in particular the art and photographs of these regions with some created by the owners.
