Marie Velenski

I have been experimenting with glass fusing since 1999, I am self taught – I locked myself away in the garden shed with my old kiln and travelled my own path in glass art work.

My work consists primarily of glass with inclusions – a fancy sandwich with secret ingredients in the middle. I am always experimenting and there are endless possibilities still to explore.

I am wholly sensitive to the world and strive to convey my dreams, my fears and my own life experiences in an honest and instinctive way in my work.
